The West Region Envirothon is a one day event where students compete in 5 areas (Wildlife, Forestry, Soils & Land Use, Aquatic Ecology and a Current Issue: Invasive Species) by taking written and hands on tests outside. The top 3 scoring teams advance to the State Competition. An additional 3 teams will be selected from the next highest scoring teams across the state.

* Middle school (6th-8th) teams may now participate in the Georgia Envirothon!

** New schools with high school teams may be eligible to have their registration covered per the terms of the USFS Diversity Grant that was awarded to the Georgia Envirothon for the 2015-2016 competition year.

If you have questions, please contact the West Region Coordinator.
